learn the burn

When you receive your candle the wick(s) will be pre-trimmed to 1/4 inch. During your first burn please allow your candle to stay lit a full 3 hours so the wax will melt to the edges entirely. This will allow the “memory” of the wax to be consistent and counteract tunneling throughout the life of your candle.

At each burn (after the first) you will need to trim the wick(s) to the standard measurement (1/4 inch) to reduce the amount of soot or smoking flame. Always allow the candle to cool to the original form before shifting & do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time without trimming the wick.
